Main course was pretty ordinary and the presentation was pretty good. Soup was average.  The coffee house is beautifully set-up with a hint of English influence which overlooked a lap pool and a beautiful landscaped garden.

Give it a try before the promotion ends.

A simple "Maggi Mee Goreng" at its best....

Now who don't know Maggi Mee in Malaysia....it is probably the best known brand of instant noodle here.  Maggi Mee has been our staple food for many many years and yet we don't actually get bored with it.  It's quick, easy to cook and cheap and yes easily available too.
Almost all mamak shops in Penang sell Maggi Mee Goreng but there is just one particular shop located at Jalan Khoo Sian Ewe called Restoran Yunus Khan that served the most outstanding Maggi Mee Goreng I have ever tasted.  The mee is pretty simple and not much presentation to drool over (as shown in the picture) but the taste is simply out of this world.  It is just amazing such a simple dish can be so good.  I always order a double (2 packets la, 1 where got enough) with a fried egg and some diced chicken on top.  Some diners said the Maggi Tomyam Goreng is very good too but I have never try one before simply because I don't fancy Tomyam.

The place is well known for its night crowd....Some refer this place as "Bird Shit Maggi Goreng" and some called it "Jiao Sai Maggi Goreng".  Reason is because it is located near a few huge trees that crows have made their home.  Its pretty noisy in the evening when these birds fly back to rest and you can expect a lot of birds' droppings during that time.

But don't let these disgusting names and condition deter you for patronizing this place because like the title says, this is where you can find a simple Maggi Goreng at its best...

(Warning : The above article may not be totally true due to the fact that the writer has been a Maggi Mee Goreng addict for many many years.....)

And I don't work for Maggi ok!....
